Lifted Coffee & Brunch, Hanoi
I have been noticing this place while passing by the street. There was something about this entrance that was so appealing to me. And I finally visited the cafe to have brunch one day.
The ground floor is where the kitchen and reception desk are. As I entered, I saw the showcase full of yummy looking doughnuts. So I knew I was in for a real good treat.
Plus, there were two adorable dogs and I couldn’t have been happier to be greeted by them!
I went upstairs and took a seat at the balcony. The restaurant was fully packed with only foreigners who were here for their brunch. The indoor seats looked pretty cosy and the balcony seats were perfect to sit and enjoy the view.
Breakfast & Brunch Menu
When I received the menu at the table, I was quite overwhelmed with all the options. I was here alone this day and I wish I was here with a group of friends to try all the menus. From sandwiches, burgers, classic brunch options to doughnuts. I really needed a lot of time studying the menu to choose one. It was a tough decision, but eventually I went for Breakfast Gnocchi with tomato sauce and baked beans.
My gnocchi was served in a grilling hot mini pan. It was a small pan but filled with delicious potato gnocchi, baked beans, bacons, and topped with fresh rucola and perfectly cooked poached egg.
I love gnocchi very very much, but I had’t had it for a really long time. It was the first gnocchi I had in Hanoi. And this homemade potato gnocchi was yummy. I loved the texture and the flavour of baked beans mixed with tomato sauce was great.
As my first brunch here was pretty successful with this gnocchi, I am so happy to have found this place. On my first visit, I could not make it to try the doughnuts since the gnocchi was pretty filling. But I’d love to try it in the future. Definitely, I will be back here again to try other dishes and I’m already excited!
So if you’d like to have a nice brunch with lots and lots of choices, Lifted Coffee & Brunch might be your best bet in Hanoi!
