Here’s another fantastic dessert shop you can visit for a delicious Vietnamese dessert. Huyen Vi cafe sells hoa qua dam, which is a mixed fruit with yogurt and condensed milk and is one of my favourite desserts in Vietnam. I have introduced my favourite hoa qua dam shop in Old Quarter, Hanoi in 5 Best Desserts to Try in Hanoi and Huyen Vi cafe is another of my favourite place for this dish.
Huyen Vi Cafe for Delicious Vietnamese Dessert
Huyen Vi cafe is a tiny shop located on Dinh Liet street just a minute from Hanoi’s famous beer street. I found this place on Vietnamese social media frequently introducing it to be very popular amongst locals. And since my first visit, I have been back to this shop time and time again.
They have a very simple menu with a variety of fruits and some jellies that you can choose according to your liking. From dragonfruit to mango and jackfruit, this cup of hoa qua dam is perfect to try the fresh and yummy tropical fruits. Other than the fruits, they have some jellies and tapioca pearls as well. It is served with coconut milk, condensed milk and yogurt as well as ice.
It is a perfect Vietnamese dessert to try between meals and for the sweet pump of energy to continue with the day especially during hot days in the summer. I especially love the heart shaped pudding jellies with cheese inside!
A cup of hoa qua dam with all the ingredients is 35,000VND and you can have it take-away or have a seat and enjoy a delicious dessert break!
